The ghost plugins must have transferred from one of these systems and were all wrapped vst plug ins from FXspansion VST to AU wrapper. I then transferred other audio programs from my intel 24 inch iMac in target disc mode using migration assistant.

I transferred my audio plug ins and programs from my Macbook Pro running OS 10.6.8 using set up assistant. My old intel 24 inch iMac suffered a graphics chip failure last month so I had to buy a new iMac. Where is this list coming from? Shouldn't the removal of the cache file delete this list as well.ДЄ brief history. As logic starts up I can see in the logic window a list of all my plug ins flash by before I'm told all my plugins have to be scanned for stability. Anyhow deleting this file forces a rescan but doesn't remove the ghost plug ins. On mountain lion this file is in the Cache folder inside the user account library folder. Last time I deleted the audio units cache file from the user account preference folder. Hi, Ive had a similar problem before but this time it hasn't worked.
